South Paw Mobile Pet Grooming
Project Overview
In this experimental concept project, I crafted a new logo and brand identity for a fictional company, South Paw Mobile Pet Grooming. The goal was to elevate the brand's image to reflect a more upscale, luxurious feel while promoting a sense of peace for both pets and their owners. Through thoughtful design choices, including elegant typography and soothing color palettes, the new identity embodies sophistication and tranquility, appealing to discerning pet owners who seek premium grooming services. project showcases the potential for innovative branding in the pet care industry.
The Idea
For the ideation stage I carefully considered South Paw's vision for a fresh new look that resonates with their brand identity. I focused on incorporating elements that reflect their commitment to pet care. I used elements from nature as well as a circular shape to hold everything together.

The logo
In developing this logo, I began with a primary concept that captured the essence of my brand. I then expanded this idea by incorporating new elements, such as a dog paw, to symbolize South Paw's commitment to pet care. To enhance the luxurious nature of the brand, I chose a palette of calm colors that evoke a sense of tranquility and sophistication. This thoughtful design approach not only reflects our values but also resonates with the brands target audience.
The Secondaries
The secondary logos are simplified versions of the main logo, designed for various uses. They can be applied to the company van uniforms, packaging, social media icons, and more.

The style guide
I then compiled all the elements I'd created so far into a style guide for South Paw. To the right is a condensed version that covers the essential information.
The cOLLATERAL
Finally, I designed collateral materials and created mockups. This allows the company to connect digital and print effectively without the need for actual printing tests.
